We're a small workshop, and we keep this simple: we collect only what we need to make and deliver your keepsake, we never sell your information, and we never share your horse's story without your explicit permission.

What we collect

• Order details - your name, email, phone (optional), shipping address, and the design choices you make.
• Your horse's story - the name, story, photos, hair, ribbons, and engraving text you choose to share so we can craft the piece.
• Production photos - we photograph your shoe at intake and your finished keepsake at final review, for chain-of-custody and quality records.
• Basic site analytics - anonymous page-view events that help us understand how the site is used.

How we use it

• To craft, personalize, and deliver your order.
• To send order updates by email and - only if you provide a mobile number - by text.
• To sign you in with one-time email links (we never store passwords, because we never ask for one).
• To answer your messages and make things right if anything goes wrong.
• If you join the newsletter, to send occasional news - unsubscribe anytime with one click.

Your horse's story and photos

During ordering we ask - separately and explicitly - whether we may share your keepsake's transformation and your horse's story. If you don't grant permission, we never post, publish, or share them. Granting permission is never required to order, and you can withdraw it anytime by contacting us.

Who we share with

• Payment processing - handled by our payment provider; your card details never touch our servers.
• Shipping carriers - your name and address, so your keepsake can come home.
• Email/text delivery services - to send the order updates you've requested.
• That's it. We do not sell, rent, or trade your information with anyone, ever.

Text messages (SMS)

If you provide a mobile number during checkout and check the consent box, Shiny Horseshoe Co. will send you order status text messages: order confirmation, shoe arrival, production milestones, shipping with tracking, and delivery. Message frequency varies by order (typically 4-6 messages per order). Message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of purchase.

• Reply STOP at any time to opt out; reply HELP for help or contact us.
• No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

Cookies

We use a single session cookie to keep you signed in to My Orders, and your browser's local storage to save an in-progress design. No third-party advertising cookies.

Your choices

• Ask us anytime what information we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct or delete your information (we'll retain the minimum required for tax and order records).
• Opt out of texts by replying STOP, or of newsletters via the unsubscribe link.
