Sending your shoe to us

You cover shipping to us. After checkout you'll receive packing instructions and our intake address by email.
Don't clean the shoe. Ship it exactly as it is - dirt, rust, and all. The history is part of the piece, and our restoration line is built for it.
Pack it simply. Wrap the shoe in soft cloth or bubble wrap, and include a note with your order number (it's also in your confirmation email).
Sending horsehair, ribbons, or photos? Place hair in a sealed zip bag, and protect photos between cardboard. Everything is photographed and logged the moment it arrives.
The moment it arrives, we photograph everything and send you confirmation that it's safely in our care.

Free standard U.S. return shipping on completed orders of $150 or more.
Orders under $150 include a flat $12.95 return-shipping charge, shown at checkout.
Every keepsake ships fully protected, and you'll receive tracking by email (and text, if you opted in) the moment it leaves our hands.
Insured or signature-required delivery is available on request - contact us before your piece ships.
We currently ship within the United States only.

Standard turnaround is published at checkout and is typically within four weeks of your shoe arriving. We cap how many orders we take each week so quality never rushes.
A limited number of 10-business-day rush slots are available each month as an add-on.

Because every keepsake is custom work on your own irreplaceable shoe, orders are non-refundable once production begins.
That said - if there is a workmanship issue, or your item is damaged while in our care or in transit to you, we will make it right. Photograph any shipping damage and contact us within 7 days of delivery.
Normal restoration reveals the shoe's true character: pitting, wear and nail marks may remain. That's intentional - it's the proof this is really their shoe. We'll never polish away the story.
